As we approach the final round of the men’s season and with the women’s season concluded, it’s time to turn our attention to the annual Redlow Medal. Can last year’s champion Ben “Parmi” Carmignani secure a back-to-back victory after his dominant performance in last year’s count? Will our runner-up, James “Redders” Redman, continue to poll strongly? And will Kat Binstead deliver another impressive showing in the women’s competition? All these questions will be answered on Saturday night, March 9th, when we announce the winners of the annual Redlow Medal. This year, we’re adding some exciting new awards to the night, including the Bar Award, Duck Award, medals for 3fers/5fers and medals for 50/100 scores. The season has been fiercely competitive across all grades, with seven players still in contention for the prestigious medal in the penultimate round. This last round will see the top vote-getters jostling for the lead, setting the stage for an electrifying count. It’s shaping up to be a nail-biting count, with the possibility of witnessing the first-ever tie in Redlow history.
